Baby, it's cold outside!

The snowfall has stopped and the frigid air has moved in. I have learned over the years that I don't tolerate the cold like I used to!

Today the children left for the weekend again. I was able to find Jonathon's basketball shoes this evening for his practice that is coming up on Sunday. He has his first game next week. Boy is he excited. Several times a day he looks on the family calendar to see how many more days he as to wait until his practice and first game. I love watching him get so fired up about it.

Dinner tonight was Turkey Tenderloin Fajitas and brown rice. When the children stopped by to get things they had left here, they said they were having fajitas too. Must be a fajita kind of night! Dinner was delicious. The only downfall was that the hubs sliced his finger open while cutting onions and it's still bleeding nearly an hour later. Pressure, pressure and more pressure! The first few days of the New Year have been pretty uneventful otherwise. I hope yours have been as well.

We are looking another 3-6 inches of snow on Sunday night into Monday morning with a high in the single digits and lows below zero. Stay warm, my friends!

Until next time~
